What Are Invertivores?

Invertivores are fish and invertebrates that specialize in eating aquatic invertebrates, such as insect larvae, small crustaceans, worms, and mollusks. Many popular freshwater aquarium species—including corydoras, loaches, gobies, bumblebee catfish, freshwater puffers, and dwarf crayfish—fall into this category.
Repashy Bottom Scratcher provides these animals with a diet that mirrors their natural food sources in a soft, slow-sinking form they can easily graze from the tank floor.

How to Use:

1. Bring water to a boil using the stove, microwave, or kettle.

2. Combine 1 part powder with 2–3 parts boiling water, stir immediately until smooth.

3. Pour into a mold or container and let it cool and set at room temperature.

4. Once firm, cut into cubes, slabs, or shred for feeding.

Jerky Option: After gel is prepared, slice into ¼-inch thick pieces and dehydrate at 150°F (65°C) for 8–12 hours using an oven or food dehydrator for a slow-release feeding format.

Storage Tip: Store finished gel in the fridge for up to 2 weeks, or freeze for up to 6 months.
